Meet Our 2025/26 Felt Ambassadors

At The Felt Store, we take great joy in collaborating with exceptional felt and wool artists and makers. These creative minds take pride in connecting and crafting with others in the community while generously sharing their expertise through unique felt DIY tutorials. Our Felt Ambassadors are truly passionate about their craft and are driven to inspire others with their remarkable felt creations and the processes behind them.

Amy Liberty

Mikel Michelle Co. is led by Amy Liberty, a felt artist since 2018. Ever curious and craving information, this self-taught sewist began her felt journey by creating mobiles for her 2 children, Aiden Mikel and Alexandra Michelle. She has since established her home studio, allowing her the means to work from home while providing the freedom to create, not only custom orders, but also pieces for art shows and local museums.

Specializing in unique designs, meticulous attention to detail, and a desire to create the impossible, Mikel Michelle Co offers fun, custom felt creations.

"I firmly believe in the positive mental benefits of collecting supplies, organizing supplies, and using supplies as 3 separate but equally important therapeutic hobbies. Organized chaos could pretty much describe my office at all times- it’s my Zen.”

Erin MacKeen

Erin is an artist and educator who works in artist-run and cooperative spaces helping people learn to screen print and work with fibre-based materials. Erin relies on communities of craft to expand her own skills and practice and she takes her greatest inspiration from the symbolism of tarot and nature and engages with these as ways of extending care.

Specializing in process-driven art and material exploration, Erin approaches each project and workshop with a focus on skill-building and experimentation. Her practice emphasizes hands-on learning and the value of working alongside others.

"I'm always exploring new materials in my practice and workshops and am excited to have the opportunity to discover the possibilities with the felts and wool roving that I'll have access to as part of this Ambassadorship"

Jill Bentham

Meet Jill, the creative force behind The Felted Fawn (and an original member of The Felt Store’s ambassador team since day one). Her felting journey began in 2014 when she discovered a passion for crafting felt flowers. Over time, her experimentation expanded to various felt crafts, delighting her family and friends with her creations.

Originally known for her felt pennants, Jill has flourished into creating a wide range of custom, handcrafted pieces. She specializes in meaningful, made-to-order creations that are personal to each customer — including nursery décor, heartfelt mobiles, and personalized pet ornaments.

"I truly adore working with felt and The Felt Store has made it even more enjoyable for me - allowing me to easily find beautiful and high-quality vegan felt which aligns with my core values and business objectives."
