Mother’s Day Felt Flower Magnets

I don’t know about you, but at our house the fridge is the number one place to get information – and guess who organizes it – Mom does! Turn your felt flowers into beautiful magnets this Mother's Day and bring the blooming flowers from outside in.

What you'll need:

• ProMAG® Round Ceramic Magnets, 8 Count
• Premium Wool Blend Assorted Sheets

We hot glued ¾" diameter ceramic magnets to the back of our flowers and spruced up the fridge at home. Get your kids involved by having them design their own felt flowers. They can also be used for decoration throughout the house on various metal surfaces, like a lamp in the home office.

The magnets worked great for thicker stacks of paper and can be used for hanging kids' artwork and photos.

The flowers were made from premium wool blend craft felt which is a natural felt made with 30% wool and 70% rayon/viscose fibers. It is opaque and quite dense as it is a higher-quality craft felt. It does not pill very easily and has minimal stretch. It is not a stiff felt; it is pliable like a fabric and can easily be cut with a sharp pair of scissors and a Cricut Maker.

Rayon/viscose and 100% wool craft felt are great alternatives for this simple DIY, but we would not recommend acrylic craft felt due to the magnets being handled and pulled on constantly.
